The Long Goodbye

I mean no disrespect to the caregivers of those afflicted with Alzheimer’s.

We can draw comparisons to DJT. For example, he can’t remember meeting anyone. No matter who or when, it’s always, “I don’t know the person.”

He is regressing to childlike behavior. For example, he is egocentric to the point of disaffection to others as well as an inability to recognize human emotion. For all the bullshit about positive thinking, he always projects negativity.

His personality is supplanted by the illness. He is no longer DJT but a victim with all the traits of victimization. He feels sorry for himself, he lies to protect himself, he sees enemies in the drapery. And worst of all, he has been given power and he will use that power to soothe himself, to further himself, to enrich himself and to buy some friends. Not real friends, but the imaginary kind, the kind that would do anything for him, who would die for him even, totally devoted. The kind of friends you don’t invite to dinner but you ask favors.

And like Alzheimer’s, there is no cure.

Blend in some egomania, and we have the recipe for a perfectly despicable faux human. For those of us convinced there is a specimen hidden in Area 51, this could be the proof that they walk among us.
